Team Overview

Join as a founding member of the Quality Engineering discipline at Airbase. This role offers ownership and the chance to significantly impact the company’s scalable growth through quality-driven testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts adhering to organizational standards.
• Build reliable, reusable automated regression suites and test harnesses.
• Create tools and frameworks to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and design specs.
• Monitor test suite stability and execution status.
• Perform exploratory manual testing when needed to support automation.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve testing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze application functionality and design automated tests validating functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5–6 years experience in software testing or development, with solid understanding of testing, coding, and debugging.
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving improvements.
• Experience designing and developing automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Appium, with testing across UI, service, and data layers.
• Knowledge of test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Proficient in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL queries.

Nice to Have

• Experience setting up automation pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with load/performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
• Experience with mobile testing.
